Abstract. – A total of 24 new species belonging to the genera Girardelater Schimmel, 1999 (Elaterini) (3) (Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia), Procraerus Reitter, 1905 (Megapenthini) (14) (Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, India) and Xanthopenthes Fleutiaux, 1928 (Megapenthini) (7)(Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand) are described from the Oriental Region. A key to the known species of Girardelater Schimmel is given. New geographic country records are given for 25 species of the genus Girardelater Schimmel (2), Procraerus Reitter, 1905 (9) and Xanthopenthes Fleutiaux, 1928 (14).
